Who I am

Hola! Hello! こんにちは！

My name is Maria and I'm an illustrator from Barcelona.

I was born in 1990, so i grew up watching shows and cartoons from both the 80s and 90s, but when i was 10 and started to play Pokemon games and watching Card Captor Sakura anime, I was completely fascinated about Japanese culture, and, since then, I've always had those influences on my drawings.

I used to draw as a hobby, but one day i was decided to make a professional step on art so, I was study Graphic Arts in Joso (Barcelona) and, after that, Illsutration on La Massana (Barcelona).

I worked as a freelance doing commissions, and doing commercial campaings for brands.

After that, I decided to design my own brand mixing the animes ones who was inspired me and 80 and 90s esthetics, giving them my own style!

I started selling on stands of art, comics and Japanese culture fairs, and when I saw that I was happy to work on it, I knew I was on the right way.

And now i'm trying to do the best of me, I hope that you like it! :)
